The planned specialized Master's programme 'Global Futures: Development, Sustainability, Social Justice' is designed to equip students with analytical skills to identify and analyse key challenges of global futures with a focus on development, sustainability and social justice from an interdisciplinary perspective. These three foci will relate to pressing challenges such as climate change and natural disasters, persistent and emerging conflicts, and social inequalities. The Master’s programme will be jointly taught by the Department of Social Anthropology and Cultural Studies (ISEK, PhF) and the Department of Geography (GIUZ, MNF). Leading house is ISEK.
